The C7 generation of the iconic Chevrolet Corvette introduced the third iteration of the Z06 performance model. While earlier Z06s were more track-focused, Chevrolet broadened the model’s horizons with the addition of a supercharger, an available automatic transmission, and a convertible option. Nevertheless, the Z06 was even more capable on the track than its predecessor, lopping a full eight seconds off the C6 Z06’s time around Germany’s famed Nürburgring circuit.

Power comes from a 6.2-liter supercharged V8, rated at 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
